Why I Got into Fitness:
I started my exercise journey when I was in middle school. My father got me into exercise because I wanted to
get better at soccer and had weight I needed to lose. After achieving success in losing weight, I became
obsessed with exercise and how it made me feel. In high school, I went on to be a multiple-time state wrestling
champion. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and a full-ride scholarship to the University of Arizona. I
started my fitness career at Bally Total Fitness and was the #1 Training director in the nation of 400 clubs. I
started Prestige Fitness with my best friend Joe in 2008 and, since then, have helped transform thousands of
lives! Every day is a great day and I feel very blessed to call Tucson my home.

My Education:
I was a graduate of the University of Arizona in 2006 with my Bachelors of Science in Physiology and minor in
Chemistry. Go Cats! I have been in the fitness industry for over 15 years.

Community Involvement:
I think being a local business owner, it’s so important to get out in the community and help as much as
possible. Some of the organizations I am a part of include: Ronald McDonald House, Angel Charity for the kids,
Tucson Museum of Arts, Deltas Sorority, and the Salvation Army.

Fun Fact:
I speak fluent Assyrian and beat my middle school teacher in Chess when I was 10.

of Arizona, and stayed in Tucson. I retired from my counseling faculty position at Pima Community College eleven
years ago and really enjoy my second career working at Prestige Fitness.

Why I Got Into Fitness?
I help people become pain-free using specific exercises to correct posture deviations. I learned about these
posture exercises from seeking out help with my own pain. I was in four car accidents over four decades. As a
result, I have stenosis in my cervical and lumbar spine. I have always been very active as a dancer, runner,
weight trainer, and Pilates instructor and tried everything I could think of to eliminate the chronic pain I had
in my hips and neck. Posture Fitness taught me how to correct the deviations that created pain. I now wake up
every morning pain-free.

I have been certified PAS by Egoscue University for 7 years. I retired from my counseling faculty position at

Why I Got Into Fitness:
Arnold Schwarzenegger once said, “The resistance that you fight physically in the gym and the resistance that
you fight in life can only build a strong character.”
I got into fitness in search of a feeling. Something that was always distant and out of my grasp.

Being healthy represented a version of me that could accomplish anything—someone who is not only confident but
is also physically and mentally strong, consistent, and proud of the effort spent trying to improve. I think
deep down we’re all looking for those things in some way.

“You don’t have to be great to started, but you have to get started to be great” – Les Brown

Knowing only that I knew nothing, I started looking for people who did have some answers. I became a sponge for
knowledge and obsessed with learning more about how to optimize my health. Of course, the real fun came when I
began testing this knowledge in the gym and seeing and feeling real change.

As the years passed, I developed an interest in the field of physical therapy. It was obvious to me that with
this knowledge in my toolkit, I would be able to not only understand injuries but also potentially prevent them.
As I began work in that field, I came to a decision that I would help one million people improve their health
and their lives by the time I turned 35.

“It’s not what we get – But who we become, what we contribute… that’s what gives meaning to our lives.” – Tony
Robbins

Today, I am still relentless in my pursuit to make a difference and, together with Prestige Fitness, I am able
to continue my mission of improving the lives of others.
